Getting to the Grandparents’ morning on 9 September 2016

There are many ways to get to the Grandparents’ morning at La Trobe University, Bundoora.

The 86 tram from the city stops at the Plenty Road entrance to the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus. The tram stop is only a few minutes walk from the centre of the University. Although it is a bit slower than other services from the city.

The 86 tram starts from Docklands and comes through the city along Bourke Street.

Alight from the tram at the corner of Plenty Road and Kingsbury Drive. (This is just past the Preston cemetery on your right.)

When travelling by car, come to the Northern Entry of La Trobe University (off Kingsbury Drive). Turn into the Campus Ring Road, then proceed to Car Park 7. Park your car in a white parking bay. There will be a parking ticket machine. The charge is $3 per hour, to a maximum of $5.50 per day. You can pay with coins or your credit card. The same payment arrangements apply in other car parks if an overflow of parking is required.

It is a short walk from Car Park 7 (map reference I 4-5) to the John Scott Meeting House.

Here is a map of the La Trobe University Bundoora Campus with Car Parks.

The John Scott Meeting House (JSM) can be found at map reference I-6 (on an island in the moat which flows through the University).

We look forward to your visit.
