The end of the year is approaching fast, and we have been preparing our children, families and other supporters for the transition into other settings and activities next year. It has been a big year for the children at the centre: it’s a pleasure to look back on the year and see how much they have achieved.
We have also allocated places at the centre for 2017, and while we are excited to meet our new families, it is incredibly hard to turn others away due to our limited capacity. For some children, our Autism Playmates or Parent Coaching programs may be an alternative option (see our website or contact us for details).
We are in the process of registering to provide some services under the NDIS. A technical issue is causing some delays, but we do hope to increase our capacity for next year as soon as this process is complete. Next year we also hope to add to our busy schedules of training and research. There is no doubt it will be a busy year!
We wish our current families a fond farewell and all the very best for the future.
